No wiki-day for femme, no LX-3 day for homme.
No more wiki-day for me on Tuesdays! Boo Hoo! Koby has dedicated my Tuesdays to run FACS and MACS together with ZX. This whole expt usually takes up the whole day. BUT its ok.. better than having nothing to do and sitting in front of the desk.. acting busy. haha.
Anyway, was busy that I was late for my lunch appt with Vieth and SC this afternoon. Sorry~! And, ZX kindly offered to continue for a bit so that I can go off to meet them. Thank you!
Vieth and SC treated me to a Japanese Sushi and Sashimi meal at Village center (fish market SAKURAYA), just along pasir panjang. Fresh salmon and tuna fillets chosen by us and then sliced and served. Yum~!! Potato salad was nice.. as well as the handrolls~! Doubly Yum~! Thank you for the bday lunch treat! Too bad Nana got something on and couldnt join us.. =(
Was supposed to have a viewing for flat after work today.. but then its sorta sold already.. so the viewing was cancelled. Dear then decided to go ahead and buy the Panasonic Lumix LX-3, using the capitaland vouchers we had.. before heading to Funan IT mall, we went to NUH staff canteen to have dinner.. (i was looong craving for the food and teh-peng over there)
To our disappointment, all the shops that we visited told us that the model is sold out.. new batches will only be coming in next month.. i think dear felt like being pushed down from a cliff, shouting... Nooooooooooooo-o-o-o-o-o (echoes on til a loud BANG!). Total disappointment. He intended to buy and use it on my bday.. Too bad. We just gotta wait.
To pull dear back up from the bottom of the cliff, we drove all the way to sunset way to enjoy a scoop of ice-cream.. then he was distracted by the talkings about getting our future house (4 or 5 room flat), marriage and renovation ideas. Good. Ice-cream's done and we headed back.
Dun worry dear. You will definitely get the camera.. at least before your next business trip. heh.

Baby
Baby's back home on Sunday. She will be named as Yiting. =) cute little girl with chubby cheeks. hehe. Just like Yixin when she's just a baby.
House getting crampier.. but we managed to make do with just 2 bedrooms. Baby gotta shift over to our bedroom when everyone's up, and out to work... coz we dun want yixin to "disturb" her little sister. From what I observed yesterday night, Yixin has become naughtier. I guess she's somehow jealous of the little sis, who suddenly gets all the attention. Even others like to say "Dun talk so loud / Dont cry coz you will wake mei mei up" I think she's feeling a bit of imbalance. haha. But of course, me as an aunt to her, gotta make sure she dun feel left out... by spending more time with her... provided she dun make me angry by "destroying" my stuff. After all, I cant get anymore angrier... coz she's just getting attention, and she's just a kid.

Samsung ultratouch
Yixin dropped my phone yesterday. The battery even came off. I didnt scold her... coz afterall, it's a public place and probably, with a tinge bit of feeling - I dun like my phone that much. haha. BUT I have to keep this phone alive due to the take 3 plan from M1 - to return it by the end of 2 years in working condition and then get another one.
Anyway, the phone went black out when i was charging my phone. Couldnt on it. Panic for a while, remove the batt and place it in again... then I was able to switch on the phone. Scary. If this get more frequent, I guess i may have to send it for servicing.

I thought today's weather is cool and I'll have a good start.. but who knows I got a bad start when I was kena stepped while coming up from the mrt escalator and I couldnt find my slipper. Damn. Luckily an auntie who's coming up next saw my "abandoned slipper" and kicked it to me... Somehow the escalator was jammed up because of this. Stupid! Why are the ppl in a rush? Cant they enjoy the cool weather and instead of rushing?
Anyway, just because I'm not as rush today, I gave 2 trains a missed.. Coz i dun wanna be squeezed... but realising time was running short, I went up the 3rd train and it was sooooooooo packed that literally it's body to body contact. Lucky and sadly, it's another auntie infront of me and a plump girl on my right.. Where's all the handsome young man?? haha I can imagine squeezing with them. wohoho.
Today the cleaner auntie reminded me there's solar eclipse in the morning. But now its raining so heavily that I dun think we can see it.
Last but not least, Happy birthday to Nini-chan~! Although you bday celebration was over, but today is the actual day. Hope you can be happy every day and every minute. Miss your smile. Muackz!

一分钱一分货
Confirmed. The perfume that I bought from Lucky plaza is not of a good quality.
I got Hugo Boss Femme gift set from my colleagues as a birthday gift last year.. The large bottle actually last me til this year, just before my bday again. heh. So I went to buy the same one from lucky plaza this time - Since it was way much cheaper compared to those comestic counters, and DFS. The usual 2 sprays from my first bottle could last me the whole day (although I do have friends saying that they didnt smell any - but its ok, I can smell it. haha). But 2 sprays from the new bottle couldnt even last me half a day. It's really 一分钱一分货。I think next time I will be getting my perfumes from DFS - since dear is always flying around. =)
Time for home soon. Very tired today. Barely keep myself alert.

Dangerous Event
I missed an exit on the way to my sis house. Then i went straight up to upper serangoon road.. somehow i managed to reach potong pasir avenue 1... I went to a carpark and parked.. Then I tried to look through the street directory. No use. I am a map idiot. I'm so silly. Lucky my SIL and Yixin were with me... coz i dun like the feeling of being lost in somewhere alone. haha. So I called my BIL. He knew where am I, just that he didnt know how to explain to me. So he came all the way down and ask me to tail his car... then, I managed to reached there, safely. Was so afraid that suddenly my SIL have contractions then i die liao. haha dunno how to react lo. Coz as I was following the car, I did brake too late for many times... [Also, i'm not really used to my bro's car. first time driving. no good. GTI better. haha]
Journey home was smooth. afterall, it's natural instinct to find the way home.. Now Yixin is sleeping, despite the blasting/deafening music from the indian's wedding at the void deck.

Changed layout again. Just realised there's a lot of gadgets and stuff to play around in blogger template. Changing layout is so much easier compared to last time.
Dear's on the plane right now to beijing for business trip. Yet yesterday he took the time to send me to WX's wedding dinner and fetch me back home. Thanks dear.
Had an amazing experience for WX's wedding. Not sure why, after having the last dessert dish, I drank some coke and my voice is totally gone. Coarse as a man. Haha. Dear was laughing at the fact that I lost my voice and keep talking and making noises.. Everyone at the table was shocked as well - coz I'm fine and all of a sudden, I couldnt speak properly. haha. MT said there must be some kind of chemical reaction with the dessert and the coke.. haha~~ not sure about that, but I do believe~! Coz I felt something in my throat when I swallow. After a night's rest, i'm ok now. hah. Scary lehz.

Wedding dinner tonight.
The expensive hairclip that I bought from a shop in jurong point had it's crystal loose in just 2 weeks, after 2 times of usage. It took me another week or so to went back to the shop to had the crystal fixed. Afraid that the crystals will dropped or become loose again, I didnt use it immediately when I got it fixed.. so I used again last week, and this time the crystals dropped. instead of becoming loose like the first time. Sianz. The hairclip (a small one) cost $16.80.. I'm tired of going to the shop to fixed it again.
Anyway, house hunting is not exactly smooth. The house that we took a liking, thw owner insisted a 20k COV. it's out of our cash budget. So we have to say no, and continue to look for another one. It's a bit sad, for me, coz of the effort that dear put in to scouting the house and the surroundings may just gone to waste. Today there's 2 other viewings at Toh Guan. Wish us luck again. =)
Went to nail expert to do a manicure and pedicure yesterday. Just before we got up into the shop, we saw the first timer promotion package of a spa mani and pedi for 2 sessions for $94.80. It was a good deal and hence i signed up for it... coz I plan to give my mum a "pampering" bday treat this year. So spa for mani and pedi - decided. This leave the sourcing for full body massage and scrub for her. heh.
It's my bday month~~! I'm really going to be broke real soon. Like I mentioned, 4 weddings this month. There's one tonight. Tmr will be going to my niece bday party.... plus, bday month there's extra rebates at Fancl.. so i'm going down to purchase items - which will be another cost! haha. House Hunting in progress
Dear and I saw a unit that we mutually like it.. So we (or he) decided to "spy" the surrounding neighbourhood and check on the amenities, the buses that passes the neighbourhood etc... to the extent of, noting down the number of secs the lift took to bring him from ground level to the highest floor. haha.
Yeah, the flat that we are eyeing is at the highest level. We are very afraid of those "heat" that we will be experiencing.. so we went online to search for forums and found more pros then cons to stay at the highest level. So we decided - to give an offer to see if they can accept. =) So if everything really goes well and smooth for the both of us, I can foresee myself getting ROM by this year.
Our HLE approved, and it's amazing to see how much we can loan from HDB. Bro said if we managed to get it approved, that means we can actually get a new flat - why resale? Dear then tell me, by the time the new flats (that we like) are built and ready, he dun think we can get the HLE approved. Further more, resale flats are usually bigger (coz they are older) and spacious. =) Probably the only thing i'm afraid is that we have a slight risk of getting haunt by loansharks... *touchwood* and dear is optimistic saying this is not really possible. Anyway, we will try to survey the area as much as possible. heh.

SY's wedding is today. 7-11. A nice date to remember. Took some photos, but the quality is not that good under dim lightings.. Photos are up in facebook.
We went for house hunting after that.. From the time we started until now, we had seen from very old houses to old houses to quite new ones. It's not that we had viewed a lot of houses... and this is only the 2nd weekend used for house hunting... but currently, we havent found one that's to our liking, that we can go "let's get this house!". Sigh. The factor is usually the COVs, where pple are still wanting 80k cash?? What the hell? Go rob a bank lah~! Now the economy so bad.. and for first timers like us, where got spare cash?? double sigh. Hunting house is really tiring... esp if we narrow our target of interest to only certain areas.. Guess we really have to look at a bigger spectra.. Dear's even more tired. He's the one who's contacting those agents, driving us around.. and getting different papers and select those possible to view ones. Thanks dear for working hard for our future house. I know I am lacking a lot in this area. I will buck up ok? Folks, wish us luck~!

Just reached office not long ago. Went for a medical checkup. Got poke twice for 15mLs of my blood, did some standard measurements and they told me that reports will be sent to my company and house when it's ready.. Although I maintained my weight, I have put on 1.7% fat since last year. hee~~ I wonder where does the fat gone to.. should be my tummy. hehee
Hungry~~~ although light snacks were provided, I dun really have time to sit down and eat. I took a very small piece of sandwich, and a nurse called me in to take ECG.. so I had to gobble up that piece of sandwich. When I done and out, I wanted to take another piece of sandwich, the doc called me in. Sigh. Everything happen so fast there's no break in between for me.. When its done and I thought I can grab another sandwich, the nurse called me to go to another level for xray and then I will leave from there. hmph~~!
So.. what can I have for lunch?

Yesterday we started off viewing flats.. We went to a ~5 yrs flat near bukit gombak MRT station and was very disappointed the the layout. I wonder why HDB designed this kind of awkward-cum-small rooms? Masterbed room is the only room that is square. Small kitchen, small living room and small toilets! Definitely a no no for us.
We then went to another ~11(?) yrs flat. We liked the layout. It's big and spacious, and every room is square. the con is, it's along corridor, so you will keep seeing pple walking pass your house. It's ok, we can shortlist that. hehee
Dear then dropped me at Grand corpthone for ZX's wedding. Ju said that we took too little pics at YT's wedding and so we took more. haha~~ Plus, some of the girls couldnt get the chance to see Koby's wife.. so I was assigned to be the paparazzi for the night. wahahaa. Pictures can be viewed in Facebook. note: She's really beautiful! can't keep my eyes off her. haha. dinner was great, pretty bride, cozy room and table setting.. there's a small hiccup... thats the champage popping - ZD couldnt pop the champage coz it's too tight.. I think they changed 1 bottle for him and still quite difficult.. until pple (including me) shouted "jia you!" and clap hands to encourage him. the whole process took entire 3 mins plus - that is, the march in song was played until it finishes and replayed.. hehee
After the dinner, Dear came to pick me up and we went to watch Ice age 3 at Tiong Bahru Plaza. Nice show~! hee. Funny and cute. I slept around 2plus ytd.

An experience
Yesterday's movie was great. Tranformers Rocks~! Plus the gold class seats, it's perfect.. Big screen and of course, comfortable seats. =) There's sure to be part 3 to this movie, coz megatron and starscream are not dead.
I'm glad to ask dear along for this movie. I can see that he enjoyed watching the show again, coz there's very good sound effect installed in this theater. Funny thing is, he said he wanted to watch again to confirm if the The Arcee twins died in the show, or they were just injured and got out of the script and never showed up again.
Hahaa, he apparently, failed to confirm that and ask me what I think. Dear also failed to notice some parts though he's watching the 2nd time. haha. I think he's very excited after watching the show and while I was driving home along west coast highway, there was a cement mixer in front of us that drove at a very slow speed.. I was like "wah lao, drive so slow!" then he commented "dun drive too near! It's a decepticon!" hahaa.
I managed to reach home and parked the car nicely despite those distractions that I had (chatting and discussing about the movie and the anime of transformers)..
