Shit happens.

This morning was damn lucky to have a warmth, large pile of bird shit landed on my right hand, sliding thru and in between my thumb, index and then dripping from middle finger! Eew~! Lucky there's a coffeeshop just across the road.. and so I went to wash my hands, twice, double checking if there's any remnants before leaving. I washed my hands the 3rd time with plenty of soap in the office. I still cant get the yucky feelings away.. -_- I guess for some pple, they will ask me to use the hand, pick some 4D or toto and go and buy.. coz it's rare, and I tell you, it's the first time!!!

But I'm glad that it didnt land on my body, hair or bag. That's lucky.

Sunday

Bought my pair of shoes from Anna Nucci in Far East plaza.. =) Ying kept saying that the heels are not high enough.. but the problem is.. I dun wear heels at all! So it's best that I keep it short.. so I dun have the worries about trip and fall.. and walking around, wobbly. hee. Will be collecting the shoes from Jurong point branch, coz they didnt have my size.

Tried playing with my itouch.. sleek and nice. But now without the casing - fingerprints are all over! Ying said she wants to get one for me.. ask me dun buy myself.. but then how can!! I cant bring the itouch out without protective cover! Looks too flimsy! haha. Unless she gets one for me and pass it to me, like soon? heh.

That's how I spent my christmas

Yesterday went to KK's ex colleagues christmas bbq at Bishan Loft.. and such a coincidence, I saw my ex colleagues - Eileen and Poh chiam! Not sure about Poh chiam's relationship with KK's ex colleague, but Eileen told me that she was a childhood playfriend or something like that! Such a small world eh. I cant say that I had fun, but to meet up with a good colleague is something to be happy.

I got my Ipod touch! Thanks to KK's sis - she got for me when KK when over to visit her in US.. dear kept it until christmas to give it to me. hee. While I'm typing this, I'm charging the ipod and downloading itunes to transfer the songs. heh. So happy! Dear say this new gadget will keep me busy for the next 4 days, since he is going back to penang this afternoon. Hm.. even without this ipod, I'm still occupied with Facebook's farming! haha! Not to forget, an interesting novel that RJ lent to me. Then I'll be meeting Ying later to see if I can get shoes for my ROM~! Lots of things to do. hee

More or less done lah.. but dear haven decide wat to wear. haha!

Besides ROM issue, we just went for the HDB first appt! Will be going for the 2nd appt on feb next year... and by right in feb, we should get the keys liao.. but then due to nice guys like us and mutual agreement, we decide to give them approx 2 months to move out... that means, I will be getting the house in April, then renovation... probably about june before dear can move in first, instead of renting a room now. hee.

Nothing much to do

There's isnt much to do here at work. Company had announced company holidays on 24 Dec and 31 Dec. =) Yeah! Dun have to come to work!

Had my company christmas lunch yesterday at Rochester Park - Northborders. It's a nice outdoor place and had really reasonable price for set lunches.. 23.90++ for 3 course lunch with 1 drink. I will definitely visit there again. =) I think it will be a nice chill out place at night!

Old school days

There's really nothing much for me to do today, except to rest and recover my flu and muscle ache... but since I have the time, I did a mini spring cleaning to throw/donate away any unwanted items.. that's when I found this......

An Aiwa cassette player with radio function! I still remember the day when mine broke down and ta dah~!! Dad bought me a new one that night. I was the luckiest one among my siblings. Dad really dote on me. I didnt test it out.. but i strongly believe that it is still working. I have been keeping it with me for years and years.. even though it was replaced by the discman then, followed by receiver, to the current MP3 player. But now, its time for it to go. I'm going to donate to sembcorp, to see if there are anyone else who find this useful.

Since I decided to donate off my casette player, then there's no use for me to keep those casettes that I bought! Here's my collection. I know it's not a lot, but those were my treasured items back in school days!

Those casettes are over a decade old!! I just checked those tapes and they were not moldy at all! Thanks to my safekeeping - away from light and moisture. hehe.

How nostalgic.

Sickly

Feeling sick. Had been having runny nose for 2 days and for the 3rd day it has become slightly block. Swallowing makes my throat+nasal area pain.. Mum made for me honey drink to bring to office today. Head felt heavy and I really feel like taking MC, but I didnt. Coz it's busy for fusion unit today. Everyone's on leave, leaving the 2 of us. If I take mc, probably Ju gotta make a comeback and do fusion!

Anyway, hope this lousy feeling will be gone soon. Maybe it's the teppanyaki burger from Macdonald that made me felt worse. That burger taste really weird. Definitely wont eat again. BUT I have always like the shaker fries... so I hope I can recover fast and have that again. hehe.
