Reiki

I'd finished the course for Reiki over the weekend with Nat and Apr. I'm currently able to act as a medium (conductor) to use the positive (natural/universal) energy to "heal" a living thing. Although i said heal, it doesnt mean that I am a doctor/witch doctor etc. I can only help a living thing to ease/alleviate/reduce pain and discomfort, boost immune system by positive energy etc etc. I'm still new towards this. So I need to practise more to open up my chakra channel.

I did Reiki on mum yesterday and I'm happy that she's able to felt those certain points where my hands were hovering. Warmth and pressure. I was telling mum, by helping her to do reiki, we were actually using the time for bonding as well.. hee =)

I slept around 11 yesterday. Consider early, coz dunno for what reasons, I was unable to go online. Anyway, the point I'm getting is - I'd a flu today (which is rare, unless I slept late). So I believe this is the 21 days cleanse (detox) after learning reiki. According to the master, he said that we will experience changes on our body such as emotional, physical and mentally. Gosh - I really hope there's no dramatic changes to me.

I think I need to practise more for my reiki.. and I'm waiting for Nat to come back to my unit, so that we can heal each other. If not, pple may think that we are going crazy. haha. Plus, I'm also waiting for dear to come back and be my test subject. hehe. I hope that he can feel my "power" wahahaa.

Low threshold for funny stuff

Went fusionopolis for lunch today. With Nana and Vivi. It's been a while since i last ate prawn noodles. Nice. The teh peng taste better than biopolis's also. Intend to visit there more often. hee.

Dear now should be on a plane now. Flying to Manila. He'll be back on Thurs, and Friday he will be off to Penang again. Busy Busy for him~! it's ok~! I have my dates with me as well. This weekend going to learn Reiki with YT. hee~ so curious~! Wonder how it works. I hope that I will be serious on that day and not laughing around.. i have a low threshold for funny things. wahaha.

Ok, since I have the time today, I shall blog with pictures~!

First of all, still remember I went for a gathering with my uni friends at Waraku fine dining restaurant? The food there tastes great. This was what I ordered - set meal that comes with sushi and soba. Yummy Yummy~!





Then we went Dempsey's bens and jerrys where there's live band. We werent there for the live band.. coz we wanted to chat.. in the end, we were sitted right in front of them, just beside the speakers. Nevertheless, we managed to talk by "shouting" and writing pieces of notes to pass around. =) I miss those days where we were in the lecture room, doing the same thing..
Anyway, this was the chef's special I ordered, supposed to have warm choco oozing out when I cut it... guess the choco was not warm enough. Plus, it's a tad too sweet.

Ok, next - yesterday. We (ex-lilly) gathered at bugis, walking around intending to find a white dress for myself but found none.. sigh.. either too fanciful (to me) or the dresses are too short. Nevermind, I still have time. We had our dinner at double bay - a australian restaurant at Raffles city shopping centre. I had shepherds pie.. NICE~! I will definitely go there again. The other had fish and the tastes were good as well. Slightly a bit over priced, but once in a while should be ok. =)

Then we went Equinox. The bar at 70th storey of swissotel. My first time there. The scenery's sooooo beautiful~! Will need to bring dear there one day. We watched the sunset there..









I dun really have a good camera to capture the most beautiful scenery.. as the sky got darker, it's more difficult coz I couldnt use flash.. hence the last pic was taken with camera on table (to totally reduce shakiness from hands).

Vi's hubby was kind to drop us home that night. Thanks~! Hope to have another gathering soon.

Oh ya, talked about lasik with the girls.. the enthu nana suggested to call the clinic to book a consultation for 3 pple to see if we are suitable for the surgery. haha~ she's so on lo. The appt will probably on mid april.

Hungry

I am literally counting down the days that dear will be back. There are too many things popping out here and there that makes me want to share with him. haha~ True indeed, absence makes the heart grows fonder. haha~

Went to OG Orchard point for shopping (private sale for members) with Nana. Thanks to ZX - she mentioned it to me and then she passed me the coupon entry for guest. I bought 2 tops and a SUPER push up bra that can immediately upsize a cup. wahaaha Comfy comfy leh... Thanks Nana for telling me this superbra existed.. for the poor "little" me. wahahaa. Na got herself towels, the bra that i mentioned and SK-II starter kit. I have been using SK-II treatment essence for about a month liao and i think it really works~! haha. Now my face is not so oily.. so no need to blot my face that often~!

Also, planned a "shopping" trip on Sat with PY,JY. VT will be joining us for dinner. hee~ JY mentioned a australian kinda restaurant she went yesterday makes me drool when I think of it now... They have shepherd's pie~!!! It's been a loooong time since I last tasted it. Days of attachment in Brisbane..didnt treasure good food when you can almost eat them everyweek for a consecutive of 4 months. So gotta grab the chance since there's the authentic australian restaurant..

Food~! So hungry now!

Flu

I'm having a runny nose now. Sianz. not intending to take mc since it's more than half day gone. Haha. Seems like I kept falling sick since i join this company. Fengshui not good ah.

Had a chat about lasik with colleagues over lunch today. Apparently this procedure is getting common and cheaper nowadays. Very tempted to go for it. I need support and some suggestions and advice. haha. Particularly from my dear. =) *winkz*

I wonder why there is a huge different in font size when reading my blog using internet explorer 7 and firefox 3.. Gave up adjusting the font.. and I think now it's big enough to read comfortably. haha

Anyway, felt bored and went thru blogskins.. found a skin I like, but the html code is completely messed up.. I wonder why the author didnt bother to check before posting them online for others (like me) to use it. So, since I cant use the layout, I just took the image and placed in over here. So no layout change - just a change in background color, added image and change in font/font size. I wonder if I should credit the image from deviantart, or should I give credit to the author (who make me noticed this image).

Tmr's wed. Mid-week. I'm getting bored in the evenings.. maybe i should ask someone out for shopping one day.. but who leh? sighz.. all my friends look so busy nowadays...

I think I'll turn in now. There's really nothing much for me to do lo. Eyes are tired and i dun wanna strain my eyes further by watching anime or movies or playing games. Nights.

Reiki

A colleague wants me to learn Reiki with her. I'm considering it if I can feel it. Reiki is a kind of healing force. I still remember back in LNUS, Mary Goh used her reiki towards me. I didnt feel anything at that time. I'm not sure it works only for those who believe. The course is only 6 hours in total, and it cost about 400 bucks. It's a bit costly for a 6 hr course.. but who knows reiki may work for me and I can use it to heal my friends, relatives and family. Anyway, I have to see if I can feel the force first bah.

Zzzz

Dear accompanied me to watch the Japanese movie "Departures" today, sacrificing his resting time before another flight to korea in early morning on Sunday. It is a really nice movie that touches me way deep into my heart. I kept tearing throughout the movie... The movie was a perfect one if not for the stupid auntie and uncle who kept rattling about the plot of the movie. Stupid. I was so hot that I said "Diam ah" but apparently either they didnt hear it, or they choose to ignore it, or worse, they dont think they are the ones making noise. Damn them.

Oh ya, before the movie, we went to Benten cafe to have our lunch... their cups were wayyyyy too dirty (with floating particle and sediments) and the food are too salty. Sigh.. I guess I'm extra picky when it's my time of the month.

Anyway, enough about them. I enjoyed the gathering with Nic, Kal, SL, Gin, WY... last friday and I'm glad that I asked ZX along. =) We ate Waraku fine dining and it really tasted good. We had a return voucher about 62 bucks and we make a point that we will meet up on April to meet for dinner again. hee~ After dinner, it's dempsey bens and jerry for ice cream. Yummy yummy~

Supposed to have clubbing session today.. but then due to pple falling sick, my time of the month and my dear's only free day.. we decided to postpone til further notice. heh.

I'm getting sleepy over here. Goodnight guys.

Mixed feelings.

Heard many complains from a colleague. I can see myself as her when I was back at LNUS. The same frustrations, the same kind of anger. I thought pure research is not the same as my previous company, but it is. As long as people exists, problems exists.

It makes me ponder on what I should do next..where i will be next and what is my true desire, hope and interests are... anyway, I've somehow decided.

Waiting for dear to come back (for 24hrs on Sat) before he flies again on Sunday. I really want to catch the jap movie "Departure" but than sadly Gim is not free and dear is not around.. even if he is around, i guess he needs to unpack and pack again.. so I guess the best solution is... to catch it myself~! haha~ See first lah. I guess most pple know, I dun like to do things alone. but who knows, I can learn to be independent!

These 2 days I'm really happy working.. talking and cracking jokes, laughing til I teared. It's been a while.. I have nice colleagues I can say.

Slight headache

I had a slight headache from this morning til now.. hope that it will go away soon.. Tmr's a busy day.

Dear should be in bangkok now.. another shopping heaven for singaporeans.. I want to go for a shopping trip again~!!!! Have to bear for a bit until i have sufficient leaves to take. Sigh..

I'd laughed so hard til I teared today in the lab.. Talking to YT is really fun lo. haha.. I guess we have somehow the same frequency and hence jokes (lame and crappy) can get through to her. haha. I found myself talking more in this current unit. which is good.. hehe~

Sent dear to airport this morning. Dear will be on and off going overseas for the rest of Mar. I guess he wont be able to taste homecooked food for 3 weeks then. hee~ Of course, I'll seize the opportunity to meet him up when he is back for like 24 hrs before the next flight. Time's crucial for him. haha

As for me, I wont have anyone to drive me to work and fetch me off work. Gotta get up 10 mins earlier everyday to hop on the squeezy sardine train.. walk a distance and up a steep slope before reaching the office.. sigh. I guess I'm overtly pampered... or in other words, I'm just well taken care of. =)

Hope that next week will be an enjoyable one. Since dear's not around, I'll take the chance to call up friends for dinner... or a movie. heh.

BBQ yesterday

Yesterday our company held a BBQ at Dr Matsubara-san's condo, The Carribean. The condo is really nice.. very big pool, big fountain, surrounded by the sea, nice view, can see the cable cars etc.. haha. Took some pics and they are loaded at my picture site. =)

I enjoyed taking pictures, bbq-ing, sharing nice food and joking around with my colleagues.. This is really a good session for bonding, pulling me closer to my colleagues, who will soon become my friends. =) Ibelieve.

I miss my mummy~!

I asked my bro to close the kitchen window yesterday night when I heard a sudden gush of wind following raindrops but he didnt move an inch.. hence i went to close the window myself and never thought to have nearly hit by a fallen bamboo pole from upstairs. I was in a state of shock for that instance coz it just missed me by half a cm~! That brother of mine heard me shouted and then kept laughing at me.. hmph~!

Today's mum coming home.. I miss mummy~! I'm gonna give you a big hug when I go home tonight. Sorry that I will be home late.. coz there's company's bbq after work at my GM's house.. - the Carribean. I heard that his place is a nice one and so i want to go and check that out. haha.

I've always been thinking, what do i want for myself, and wat do I want to do in future... as always, I cant find the answers to my own questions..

The only thing i know is that, I am contented to what I have now. That's probably why I cant find answers.

Tonight

Meeting my excolleagues for dinner tonight. We are all working in different companies.. so finding a time and date to fit everyone is really difficult. So, we have to enjoy gossiping (as usual) as much as possible. heh.

Mum's 3rd day in Macau. Hope she's having fun there. I wanna thank dear for helping me to send mum to the airport, and fetch her when she returns on Friday afternoon. See, he's even better then mum's own children~! haha.. Mum will dote on dear more liao. wahaha.. plus points for him~! I miss mum... and her morning milo for me~~ Surprisingly, Dad now folds his blanket every morning when he got up from sleep.. instead of lying it there for mum to do it.

Oh ya, I've temporary switch role with another colleague to her unit.. which means i have more things to learn~! hee~ Good or bad? I wouldnt know.. until I get use to everything.
