I want to do something. I want to work. Seems like there's really nothing to do. Probably research on something online.. but what? I dun have a clear guide or an objective.. So I cant start.
Want to play games - Office PC too slow.
Want to chat online - can, but have to make the browser sooo small and not noticeable.
Want to read magazines - No no. Too obvious that I'm slacking..
Want to snack? - I'm snacking too much and right now, food is at the top of my oesophagus.
Best method to waste time at current - Toilet-ing. Haha. It takes about 100 steps from my desk to the ladies.. Do business regardless of big or small, wash hand thoroughly according to the handwash guidelines, stand in front of the dryer to blow dry my hands.. and walked to the mirror and start tidying outfit and hair.. then takes about 100 steps back to my desk. Great. Do everything slow and steady. 10 mins gone. wahhaha
Guess what, I just realised that my desk is very dusty.. hence, time to clean up desk~!
Done. What's next? Washing water bath. Argh~ I dun want a job like this~! Might as well go and be an ISS cleaner lo. "Auntie ah~ I come join u. Where's the uniform ah?"

Ongoings
I'm glad that Baby-chan's ulcers were due to "heatiness" and not HFMD, coz we monitored her over the weekend and she was better each day, instead of developing those symptoms that the doc asked us to watch out for. She's now able to eat and sleep, and of course, play and shout.. heh. I like this healthy cute baby-chan.
Yesterday I went to Orchard to meet Nana. She got her stella Mc. perfume and I checked out the price of my hugo boss femme. Cheap. It's at lucky plaza - dollars and scent. Will get it when my bottle finishes.=)
We walked around somehow aimlessly in Taka (but going into shoes and clothes shop) but didnt manage to get anything. Just when we were munching (nana having her late lunch), we then decided to go and get contact lenses. (by the way, we also went to Blvgari and Cartier - too look for any possible wedding bands.. haha~! I know that's too early but just see see only~! Cartier - 1300+ per ring and Blvgari - 1100+ per ring) and LV, Gucci to see what's new in store. It's only with Nana that I dare to walk into those expensive shops. dunno why. wahaha.
Back to contact lenses, we popped into a shop "Alexis" and they were having a promotion for 1 day acuvue moist. 5+1 for 285 bucks, hence Nana decided to share with me so that I dun have to get so much - just in case I'm not suitable (Thanks~!).

We then walked to Far east to continue shopping around... and in the end, we got to a shop and the shop sells korea/jap/taiwan girls stuff.. Nana bought the liquid-eyeliner-cum-glue for fake lashes, plus the glue remover for that. hehe. I bought an OPI cuticle oil on the go. (Tube with attached brushes so that I can squeeze and use it whenever needed - Convenient!) Nice~!
Dinner was at Shaw, when Nana had her munchies from Long John Silver and I had my Subway sandwich.. After that, we went home. =)

The whole family didnt had a good rest yesterday. Yixin was crying the whole night every now and then. Running a fever, saying "嘴巴痛痛，肚子痛痛，牙齿痛痛。" She couldn't get herself to sleep... and the same goes for us as well. I'm worried about her. She has had fever before, but not to the extend of not sleeping and not eating.
They just went to the doctor this morning and yet to return. I hope everything is fine.
I cant believe that my brother values the computer more than Yixin's health. 10 mins before going to the doctor, he switched on the PC and started his Tribal war game.. when MY and Yixin were standing at the gate waiting for bro to open the door, he just replied "wait for a while. very fast". 3 mins gone and both of them were still standing at the gate waiting. I was angry and said " i think you better go and see the doc yourself. No point waiting for him". Indeed, MY brought yixin to the doc, saying she will wait for bro downstairs.
Another 5 mins gone and bro was still on the PC. Mum was very angry with him for valuing the online game more than anything else. After all our nagging, he then start to shutdown the PC. Sigh.
Ok. They just came back. doctor said Yixin has 2 big ulcers at the back of the mouth. We have to monitor now to see if it is just pure heatiness or really HFMD. Coz usually HFMD will be full blown after 2 days, with red patches and more ulcers. If the ulcers are gone after 2 days, then it's just pure heatiness.
I'll be going to dear's house later, packing lunch for him and then watch movies with him before he flies off in the night to Birmingham.

I dun have a good night rest. Was woken up by my niece at around 4.30am. she puked twice coz she's not feeling well. POor girl. She was running a fever... hope by this morning when she wakes up she'll be fine. I asked mum to monitor her whether she has signs of dengue or HFMD, coz recently there were cases of dengue fever in our area (to the extend that the MP Arthur Fong came down personally door to door to tell us to be vigilant, and gave us the covers for holes to hold the bamboo). Just to be safe then sorry, it's better to take note of my niece, rather then thinking it's a normal fever or cold.
I'm planning to take mum out on the 9th May to sentosa for mother's day. Was utterly bored in office the past days and hence got the ample time to think and plan on where to bring mum. It's been some time since i last took mum out... (i know mum likes the fountain of wealth in Suntec and wants to go there again. haha) but i decided to take her for the Fish Spa~! hee. The package includes a foot reflexology session and head+shoulder massage.. Since she likes massaging, I shall bring her there for a try.. and a "surprise". But first of all, i have to call and make an appt. Hope that there's slot for 3 pax~!

Waiting for hair to dry now... Reached home around 10 plus from dinner with my colleagues. We went to big "O" for dinner and dessert. JS brought her little cutie pie along... so cute~~ felt like pinching her cheeks.. but then i managed not to. wahaha. I enjoyed the car ride to wheelock, when she sang her fav song "oh my". Looking forward to more makan outings~!

Just realised a bad point on my new phone. The battery talk time is only 1.8hrs~! Thats terrible eh. imagine a fully charged phone and i start calling my best friend, chats and then 1.8hr later the phone is dead. Thats the shortest talktime among all my phones lo. I realised this coz I charged my phone yesterday evening and this morning the phone dropped to 2 bars (full bar is 5). Imagine the phone is on standby while i'm asleep leh.. how can the batt drop so fast?
I'm going to monitor the duration of the battery life. Coz I wanna see if it's the battery problem or the phone problem.

Heaven and Hell.. (not in terms of work)
Never thought that there's actually boring times in my current company. I used to think that research (lab) work will be busy like hell.. but no. Recalling those times in my previous company, during those lull periods like now, my gang were sure to be occupied with long tea breaks, or, watching videos/listening to CDs, munching snacks, chit chatting as well as playing online games in our own private office. That was heaven~~. hee. Cant find another job that is this good. just imagine... lab tech also have own office leh~~ So peeps who are still in Lilly, cherish the free time you guys have over there... coz if you come to the outside world, you cant expect the same.

Ok, just an update of what I did over the weekends...
Friday:
Went to JP to meet dear for dinner.. but never to know that the guy that's selling his car to dear had the time to meet him.. so dear went back home and borrowed a car from his friend. A manual car. haha. Lancer. Too chio already - black car with red body kit. Typical malaysian ah beng's car. haha.. no choice. all his roommate's cars are manual one.. so dear had to try driving one.. not too bad for him lah... always just nice engine stalls when he was in the carpark slot. wahaha. Back to the topic, we went to the condo to meet the guy, paid him the deposit and we will be getting the car from him on the first week of May ba.. coz dear will not be around til end of this month.. Yeah~! Hope that his loan gets approved lo. Then we drove to eat stingray.. and after that, it's my turn to drive back home. Scary~! That's my first time driving a manual car after passing for 2 years~! But afterall, I still remember lah. no engine stall for me. I manage to park the car too. *proud*. In the end, when we got out of the car, dear dropped my phone and my water bottle, got them both scarred.

I mentioned in my previous post it's a R and R day. until dear came and we were both complaining about the heat and off we went for dinner at IMM. =)

Another sunny day. Went for a late lunch with mum and to NTUC to get my fav cookies (for office). Then I went to meet Sis at Toa Payoh hub and get my new PHONE~! hee. Samsung ultratouch S8300. Nice. Full touch screen with a slide out keypad when you just feel like using it. hee~ Cool. Good for busy pple on-the-go, without having to look at the onscreen keypad. Still new to this phone.. will be loading music (as ringtones) and Pics (wallpaper) tonight when i get home. heh. Dear's not around, but i'm busy.

Today is R&R day. Rest and relax.
Got up in the morning at around 9.30am, laze around, did a spa scrub, then a face mask, took a nap, got up, ate something, dear came and then we went IMM for a walk and dinner... and now, back home watching tv.
Everything will be perfect if the weather is not so HOT. Summer days eh.
Dear's now on the way to airport. Melbourne and sydney.. then UK.. although dear said that he's going there for work and he's very stress... but I still want to say.... "I'm so envious.. and I wanna go~!"

I'm tired.. Today's friday. The dinner supposed to be tonight is postpone til further notice. So tonight i will meet kk for a date, with the start of the "commoners" life without a car. haha~
A lot of things ran through my mind yesterday. Family, friends, work etc. It's really tough making choices and making decisions. Sometimes I just feel like running away, running away to somewhere far, to cool myself down, to keep my objectives clear. hm.. since I cant run away far, all I can do is to stay at home this 2 days over the weekend, to think of what I should do next.
Just done with company lunch. (Welcome plus bday celebrations). The pizzas and the cake is not enough for me lo. haha. Went down to get muffins. hee~ Will heat it up later after labwork to savour it. wahaha. yum yum~!
Anyway, dear's going away for a business trip again. on and off till the end of Apr.. I have the nights spared for my friends then. haha.

"The 2nd last day to seeing the Mazda 3". - That's what dear reminded me yesterday. Today is the day where the car will be passed to the car dealer. KK has sold his car... and the next car (we are still looking) will be OUR car. haha. I will chip in a little (to cover the transfer fees), and then he will have to pay the rest.. so.. that makes me part of the owner liao. wahaha.
It's been years with this mazda 3.. we had our happy and sad times in there. We used it for countless times such as day to day activities, bdays, celebrations, anniversaries etc.. This car had been through ups and downs itself... and its still serving good. It's a little sad to see it go.. but "new one wont come unless the old one goes" right?

Random
Menses are painful. it's been a while since I had it soooo painful that I need to take painkillers. What makes it worst, I forgot to bring pads with me. Lucky my dear colleague has painkillers and spare pads to give it to me. haha.
Anyway, seems like WY's wedding havent ended~! every brothers and sisters are still talking about it... the montage, the photos etc. Everything is so well planned and enjoyable~ Hm.. i'll have to aim for this kind of wedding the next time. =)
Good news for dear about the red GTI he is aiming. haha. Good news for me too.. I will have the chance to drive a new (yet old) car. haha. Happy happy~!

I'm back from JB ytd. hee
I really enjoyed myself there. We went in on Sat and it was raining real heavily...luckily that didnt dampen our mood. We reached there just in time for dinner.. I really loved the suite that she booked for us at grand paragon hotel. Must really cost her a bomb. There's a big living room and small kitchen area, and 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathroom. every room there's LCD tv attached to the wall. Nice.
After dinner, we went to KTV just 1 level above our room. The KTV room was huge~! It can contain about 20 plus pple. Hee~ The brothers all could sing really well eh. Too many pple liao.. cant remember all their names. hence we attached names to pple like "the liu qing yun lookalike" and Lee hom - a guy who can sing Leehom's song very well. hehee. I was labelled as Zhang Huimei. haha. so paiseh lo... but proud lah. that means I can sing well too. heehee
The gatecrashing game went smoothly. and the videography man was really full of ideas, making the whole event fun and enjoyable. The dinner was fun - as the brothers and sisters gotta pair up and march in first, and then step aside, opening a pathway to let the bride and bridegroom to pass.. meanwhile showering rose petals on them. hee. The dinner was good too. hee. I loved the MV that they did for mark and hazel. hee~
Thanks to the both of them for letting us enjoy the event soooo much. It really paid off for the time and effort both of them put into. Thanks for the big angbao and the privilege for being a sister as well~!
I really cut short a lot of things that happened, focusing on just the happy things.. Lazy to blog lah. The whole weekend would be perfect if not for the police and snatch thief thingy that occurred on separate days. Just be warned for those travelling to JB, please be careful of your personal belongings.

Good Friday, Good night.
I worked today. worked on a good friday. It's nice once in a while, where my favourite colleagues were the only ones in the office - no one else.
I packed subway for all of us before going to work.. and YT bought each of us 3 curry puffs. I cant finish lo... I dun take breakfast usually... but i ate one, since it smells realllly nice. hehe. thanks ah.
After work, dear and I went PS and then cathay in hope that we can get at least side seats for the movies.. but no luck. First row is definitely a no no. haha. Hence we walked around, sat down and chat over dinner. hee.
There's a lot of things running through my mind these 2 days.. ya, what else but financial thingy happening in my family... and some other things. haha. I'm not going to post it out here.. just want to say that I have to look at things positively... and just, dun care anymore.
Going to JB tmr. haven really "packed" what I need during the 1 day stay.. makeup, dresses and some other small miscellaneous items. I'm so tired right now... but I will just hang on for another 30 mins to go and pack them.

swelling..
I woke up in the middle of the night feeling a sharp pain in my right eye. I rub it gently (real gently) and then it started tearing. lots of tear. I kept wiping off the tear, did reiki to my eye and went back to sleep.
I got up in the morning and couldnt open my right eye~! So painful. I quickly used eyedrops to wash, then I looked in the mirror to see a disgusting sight. the membrane (translucent white) was all swollen! (looked like it's going to burst if i poke it). I rested for a while, took my shower and the swell subsided a bit. Hence, I dressed up and was going to work.. (but i'm still feeling discomfort whenever i blinked my eyes). I took my bag and went downstairs and dear was waiting for me. Then I showed him the eye and he took me to see a doc.
Waited for quite a while before the patient before me came out. Was given MC and antibiotic ointment - which is darn difficult to be applied.. and now I'm resting at home. Will rest my eyes for a bit after i finish this post.

My weekend ended so fast...

Went to the market and NTUC to get ingredients for making rojak. hee. Dear got the rojak paste from Penang and wanted us to try it. It's really tasty~! We had some leftovers of fruits.. hence we left it til Sunday for 2nd round. heh. Then around evening time, dear, mum and I sat down at the dining table and drank Choya. relaxing~! Mum and my face turned red after drinking. Our family is really sensitive towards alcohol..

Went out early in the afternoon to volkswagon showroom to view the newly launched Golf. It's raining cats and dogs lo.. but volkswagon was nice enough to have their staff holding umbrella under the rain and shelter us whenever there's a car coming in to view the cars. Poor staff.. most of them were drenched. We approached the staff for test driving.. and I sat behind. Dear was not use to continental car.. wiper and signal were switched. haha. (and it's still drizzling at that time). I felt uncomfortable as dear stepped on the brake too hard.. or rather, the brake was new.. hence very sensitive. made me wanna puke if test driving any longer. haha

Thoughts
Continuing frm the previous post, I did tried reiki on my bf.. but then he didnt feel anything. Yesterday i tried again on his back, he felt numbness. haha. Somehow, i kept asking for feedback from the pple that i did reiki.. somehow, it's a kinda reassurance that this thing works.
I have a lasik pre-evaluation on 18th April. Initially it's with Na and PY.. but Nana had some pre-existing conditions and after some advice from her friends, she decided to not go for it. So left me and PY. Never did I thought that PY also back out.. so left me alone. Sigh.
Tonight meeting my ex-colleagues for a gathering. =) Seems like I'm spending a lot recently. Haha. Like my friends said, I have the spending power already (not to forget, peer influence). Plus, keeping track of how much I earned and how much I save is indeed a risk. A risk in overspending, having a mindset that I still have remainings. In addition, having the mindset that this amount can be earned just in a X amount of month. What to do? I cant control myself~!
